Jim Crow's laws were laws that separated blacks and whites from anything possible. One example of this was that blacks could not play dominoes, checkers, dice, or cards with whites.
“Separate free schools shall be established for the education of children of African descent; and it shall be unlawful for any colored child to attend any white school, or any white child to attend a colored school.” This was one of the direct laws of Jim Crow that used segregation to put negroes and whites in separate schools.
Throughout the country, there were many signs that said things like "colored waiting room" and stuff like "drinking fountain- whites only." The word "colored" was very often used to separate other races from whites.
Jim Crow didn't even want whites to be in the same theatre as other races. It's as if whites couldn't go near other races. Racism was just that crucical.
These laws even prevented negroes and whites from drinking in the same fountain, because The whites didn't want germs from the negroes. [nic is cool]Plus, the whites had a lot of more rights in general, for example only they get public swimming pools, as seen above.
