St. Anne Line Venerated in the roman cAtholic church
Saint Anne Line was an English Catholic martyr.
Born in 1563 and hanged in February 27, 1601 at the age of 38.
Anne grew up in a Puritan family.
She converted along her brother to Catholicism after marrying Roger Line.
After losing her husband, she became very active in sheltering clandestine Catholic priests, which was illegal in the reign of Elizabeth I.
She was condemned to death for sheltering a priest.
St Anne Line was beatified December 15, 1929 by Pope Pius XI.
She was canonized October 25, 1970 by Pope Paul VI.
St Anne's prayer is about having strong faith and virtue to face life battles and evil.
