Avery Roehler, 17, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, is one of the few students who has been an executive producer for her school broadcast station for at least three years. She is a rising senior at Blue Springs South High School. Roehler was also on the yearbook staff this past year. She works about 15 hours a week as a receptionist at the Amazing Lash Studio. Her dream school is Texas Christian University and she wants to study journalism.
