Strikes
As you may know the NEU teaching union have agreed strike action on four dates. The first of these is on Wednesday 1st February. Classes where strike action is not being taken will remain open as usual. Any classes that are affected by strike action will however close. Whilst we do not yet know if any classes will close, please assume that your child's class will open as usual unless otherwise notified. Any changes tor individual class arrangements will be sent through ParentPay at the earliest opportunity.
School Start Time
We kindly request that pupils do not arrive on the school site too early in the morning (before 8.30am) when unaccompanied by an adult. The school doors will not be open until 8:40am, and there will be no supervision before that time. We understand that some pupils may be eager to start their day, but we ask that you respect this policy for the safety and well-being of all students. Thank you for your cooperation.
Children's Mental Health Week (non uniform day)
It’s Children’s Mental Health week from 6th – 12th February. This year’s theme is ‘Let’s Connect’. Let’s Connect is about making meaningful connections for all, during Children’s Mental Health Week – and beyond.
We will be taking part in Dress to Impress’ (non uniform day) on Friday 10th February. You could wear your favourite colour or a unique outfit to express how you’re feeling, it can be as simple or elaborate as you like!
Dress to Express is an opportunity for self-expression and celebrating a diverse range of emotions. The day also provides a great opportunity to be open about mental health and start those conversations.
If you would like to make a donation to the Mental Health Charity please click on the link below. Please do not use ParentPay.

All are welcome.
We would love to continue to build our FOMPs team up. We are looking for a secretary to join the committee.
We would like to hold some social events, including a quiz, a summer BBQ and our biggest fundraiser 'The Scarecrow Trail' which happens in May every year. However, to run these we need help. We are looking for people who would be able to donate even just an hour to help organise, plan and run the events. Without a few more willing helpers these activities which are enjoyed by the children, parents and wider community alike, will not happen!
We would also love to continue building our FOMPs committee team, the more members the easier it becomes.
If you would be interested in joining the FOMPS committee or would be willing to give some time (no mater how small) to help raise vital funds for the school and provide exciting activites for our children, Please contact us on fompspta@gmail.com or see our Facebook page for more information.
