One main stereotype of Animal Abuse is that most people who do abuse animals are poor. That is not a true statement. Michael Vick , who was in the NFL, was guilty for illegal dog fighting. He spent 18 months in prison. He makes ton of money and still abused animals. Both poor and rich people can be guilty for animal abuse. He put innocent dogs in with the fighting dogs so they would learn how to kill easily.

According to the FBI, cruelty to animals is a commen trait of serial rapists and murders. Serial killers often start out by killing and tourturing animals as children.
