Boredom Strikes

Curfew is good for many different reasons. When boredom strikes it leaves many students wondering what they should do. When students need something to do they often turn to not so good activities that could lead to lots of trouble. More times than not alcohol also comes into the mix and underage drinking is a big issue that should not be happening for students. Having a curfew would eliminate the need to have to find activities to do to keep students entertained. It enables them to stay out of trouble and back at their dorms in a safe environment. It is a simple rule that can make a big impact in the students lives.

Law

Curfew also allows campus police to have an easier job. It they do not have to worry about students out and about at the late hours of the night they can focus more on protecting the students and not keeping the students out of trouble. It keeps students in and safe and where they should be at the late hours of the night.

Boundary

Having a curfew set is also a great boundary to have the students at different universities learn to abide by. Learning to abide by this curfew and rule is a great skill that will go with them far. Having a curfew is a simple rule to follow but teaches many different roles to them as they get older. One role being disciple. Having the disciple to have to be back at a certain time of the night and time managing what your are doing to be back by that certain time is a great characteristic to learn and adapt to. Many other great characteristics come from having curfew that can be taken with studetns as they get older.

Academics

Finally having a curfew set at universities allows for better academic outcomes. Having the students back at a certain time of the night makes them less groggy and more alert for the next day. It also allows for better sleep and not having tired students the next day for class. More studying will also happen since they have to be back by a certain time which then leads to better grades. Having good grades allows for more opportunity once graduating college. Curfew has great advantages that comes along with it.

All in all curfew is a rule that should be enforced in all four year universities for students. There are many positives to having a curfew. It allows for many positive outcomes in a students life in college and makes for a good boundary rule to learn at a younger age that can be carried with them for a good portion of their lives. Curfew is something that students will hate at first but learn to love in the long run because of the positive outcomes it brings to their lives.
