Program Purpose
The objective of the program is to promote digital upskilling during Summer 2023 (June - September) by utilizing digital badges/certificates from our technology partners, including LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, and others. This approach aims to equip individuals with valuable workforce skills.
Submissions for the program will begin on June 1st, 2023, at 12:00 AM EDT and conclude on September 30th, 2023, at 11:59 PM EDT with the last drawing to happen for the month of September in early October, by the 5th business day.
Program Guidelines
Discover relevant digital badges/certificates aligned with your professional and/or academic objectives by visiting the Digital Transformation Center website or exploring the Digital Badge of the Month page.
Upon completing digital badges/certifications, you can capture screenshots of your completion (or download the credentials) and submit the document or PDF, along with the required information, through the online form before the end of each month.
Program Policies
Program Rules and Monthly Submission Requirements
To enter the monthly drawing, simply submit your completed badge and/or certificate files or screenshots through the online form. You only need to submit once a month to be eligible, but feel free to submit multiple entries if you have completed multiple badges or certificates.
Remember, there is no purchase necessary to enter or win, and purchasing anything will not increase your chances of winning. Participants should not incur any costs to participate in the program, including access to the badges and certifications. If you come across any badges or certificates that require a fee, please reach out to the Digital Transformation Center for assistance. If you encounter any issues accessing free digital badges, don't hesitate to contact the Digital Transformation Center at digtrans@louisville.edu.
In adherence to program rules, individuals are ineligible to win more than once within a year. In the event that a previous winner's name is drawn, additional names will be selected until a new eligible winner is identified. It is important to note that submissions from previous months do not carry over, necessitating the need to submit new badges/certificates each month for consideration.
Drawing Process for Prize Selection
To be eligible for the monthly drawing, please ensure that your entries are submitted by the end of each month. The drawing will be conducted by randomly selecting winners from Digital Transformation Center employees. The announcement of the winners will be made through the Digital Transformation Newsletter. Moreover, if you are selected as a winner for one of the monthly prizes, you will receive an email alert on your louisville.edu email address. In the event of any uncertainty regarding the random selection process, the DTC's Director of Learner will make the final decision to determine eligibility, and their decision will be considered final. Please note that submissions from previous months will not be carried over, so make sure to submit new badges/certificates each month for consideration.
Program Submission Period
The submission period for the program will commence on June 1st, 2023, at 12:00 AM EDT and conclude on September 30th, 2023, at 11:59 PM EDT.
The monthly drawing will take place on the 5th business day of the following month.
The drawing will be done by random selection from Digital Transformation Center employees and winners will be announced through the Digital Transformation Newsletter. In addition, winners will receive an email alert on louisville.edu email address if selected for one of the monthly prizes. If there is uncertainty in the random selection, the DTC’s Director of Learner will make the final decision for determining eligibility, whose decision is final.
Prizes
One prize and one winner will be awarded each month between June and September 2023. The prize for each month is an Amazon Kindle Fire.
