Lucky Brand Jeans Content Creator & Marketing Strategist Internship

My Role

During my internship at Lucky Brand Jeans at the Kittery, ME Outlet Store, I was assigned the role of a Content Creator & Marketing Strategist. Some of the tasks I was assigned and performed during this semester long internship was:

- Creating content such as posts, stories, covers, and pictures for the start of an Instagram from the Kittery location

- Doing independent research on marketing through reading articles of marketing and strategies

- Communicating with the District Manager and Head Quarters through email and calls on topics such as what products were selling the most that day & week, employee productivity, customer statistics and more

- Helping set the store and promote sales and products to help increase sales

Social Media Content

These are some of the social media posts I created for the store's instagram and other potential social media outlets such as Linked In, Facebook, and more. Some of the content i created included Banners/Headers, Posts, Stories, Profile Pictures, etc. Unfortunately, due to my lack of experience with marketing roles, Lucky Brand decided to not have me to create an Instagram for the Kittery location but my internship officer did encourage and help me design some content that could potentially be used.

ARTICLES ON marekting

These are some of the articles I researched during my time at my internship to further my goal of learning more about the Marketing Industry & Marketing Field since that is something I love doing. I also wanted to know more about how I could use Social Media as a marketing tool to create content and increase interaction and brand recognition between the company and consumers.

Communication & Store Setup

Unfortunately, I can't disclose company information such as the specific content within the emails but some of the general content was what products were selling the most that day & week, employee productivity, customer statistics, customer complains or requests, amount of daily returns, daily metrics including sales, discounts, conversion, and traffic.

Another part of my internship was setting the store in a way to promotes new or popular products, sales and discounts, creates appealing visuals and crafting a flow of the store. I helped out with dressing the mannequins, choosing specific pieces based on what the company wanted us to promote, as well as the placement of the mannequins. Signage for the store's promotions, sales, and deals as well as signage for general aesthetic of the store was changed every Friday morning and something I helped out my Store Manger with.
