What is the Metaverse?
The metaverse refers to a single virtual system in which humans can interact with each other. Although this term is primarily used to describe virtual and augmented reality, the growing reliance on social media networks and their way of allowing users to contact others no matter where they are in the world establish similarities to the metaverse itself. The purpose of this podcast is to educate social media users on the most important etiquette that they should have as the social media metaverse becomes more prevalent, which help from the book The Media and Me: A Guide to Critical Media Literacy by Project Censored. This pod is targeted to everyone, but especially those that want to be successful critically media-literate citizens.
