Well done to 8R who created these wonderful candle holders!

Are you are very passionate about girls football and girls having a voice?

What is the role of a Barclays Game Changer?

Ultimately the aim of the Barclays Game Changer role is to support Barclays and The FA in inspiring and influencing schools, parents, teachers and pupils to get behind the movement and help achieve the ambition of ensuring all girls have the same opportunities to play football in schools as boys! They will become one of a team of 300 females across the country championing female football opportunities.

There are three key areas of work that the Barclays Game Changers will be committed to:

  1. Representing the voice of young people
  2. Sharing their own story
  3. Raising the profile of #LetGirlsPlay

If you're interested in this very special role, please speak to the PE Department!

Book Review

‘The Thursday Murder Club’ by Richard Osman

The book I'm reading is The Thursday Murder Club. It is about 4 old retired people. A woman named Joyce first meets another woman named Elizabeth. The two become friends and start a club called the Thursday murder club. They soon meet Ibrahim and Ron who also join the team. Since they are retired and they don't have much to do they decide to help out in the community by figuring out mysteries. They come across the murder of Tony Curran who is a builder and currently they have one suspect who is Ian Ventham as they conspired that Tony had previously wanted to kill Ian himself. This is how far I've gotten to up to in the book. I recommend this book because it is full of mystery and fun.
