A fundamental shift - powerful apps in browser
Moving powerful apps to working in a browser makes all the difference to schools which utilise devices like Chromebooks.
On Chromebooks, you can't 'install' applications like on a PC or Mac. By moving powerful tools like Photoshop onto a browser-based platform, access to tools becomes more equitable.
Chris reflected on the familiar interface, and acknowledged that while you might 'hit' a creative limit with what you can do in browser (vs the traditional app), you can still achieve a lot on the web.
Chris demonstrated:
- Remove background
- Adding layers
- Adding other elements from other photos to your project
