Mule Weekly Recap November 2, 2020

Internal Competition Stays High with Scrimmages and Virtual Competition

This fall has been good to us and the takeaways are many. We are continually grateful to be together and putting in great work, and we are starting to see great payouts on the clock. The level of performance is visibly elevating. We now have three men who have broken 15 for the 5k, with at least two more knocking on the door. Incredibly 100% of the women who raced this weekend scored a personal best. I cannot remember a time when that has happened before... let alone during a pandemic.

Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach Jared Beers '01 reflecting on the semester after two virtual meets.

Field Hockey completed its CFH Cup with a thrilling 2-1 victory for the White Team. Pictured is senior Emily Hogan who scored one of the goals for the her team and was named one of the "Women of the Match."

"There are winners and losers but at the end of the day, Colby was the winner and the CFH cup was a great, innovative way to make us feel like our season was worthwhile.” - Senior Lauren Walter

Men's Basketball completed their second of five intrasquad scrimmages held each Saturday. The rosters shuffle each week to add another dimension of developing teamwork across the whole roster.

Volleyball completed their second of three scrimmages with the Blue Team evening the score. The seniors will be celebrated on their next, and final, match this coming Saturday.

The Men's and Women's Ice Hockey teams completed their second weekend of intrasquad scrimmages. The teams will join forces to have coed matches starting Friday, November 13. Fans will be able to stream the event through NSN.

As we roll into November, the Mules stay focused.
