Bee the Change in Brookfield, Wisconsin please write an email to or call your District's alderman Today.

Here's what needs to be done...

Step 1 of 4

The way it works in local government is that the city's alderman will take feedback from their "constituents" (residents within their particular district of the city that they are assigned to).

The most important thing you can do to support change in Brookfield regarding the legalization of beekeeping on residential property is to talk with your alderman. (We've provided contact information below for you to do that). Call or email your particular alderman - you'll see a map below - today.

All you need to do is share your story with them. That's all! Tell them you support the idea of allowing beekeeping in Brookfield and that you are concerned about the declining bee population, you want to contribute to local pollination, that bees only sting when they are protecting their hive, that many other cities (that have much smaller lot sizes) around the Greater Milwaukee Area already allow beekeeping, etc... really, it's up to your imagination.

The important part is that you just start speaking from your heart by sharing your own story. However, we ask that you do this NOW because the first meeting of the common council is on Tuesday August 16th at 7:30pm.
