Ibra Wane streats/Unbound

Welcome to my "Streats," an editorial on things I've stumbled upon, while roaming the streets of multiple cities that have piqued my interest and sparked my creative curiosity.

I'm an aspiring photographer, who's turned a passion of five years into a part-time job. I spent the summer of 2017 in Beijing, occasionally taking to the highly frequented Olympic Green village, and the hutongs, which are the oldest streets of the city. Equipped with relish for China's cultural heritage, and a camera, I was thoroughly satisfied by the outcome of these escapades. I hope you are too.

People make for interesting photographic subjects, especially when captured in moments of neglect.
One thing I've learned is that a little bit of persistence often goes a long way.

I love street photography: capturing people within a temporal and spatial context is what I specialize in, though I have covered other categories including architecture, and event photography. People make for interesting photographic subjects, especially when captured in moments of neglect.

Humans, to me, are fundamentally fascinating.
