SYNOPSIS: Notorious badd girl Lauren "Sunshine" Kennedy is a filthy rich socialite living her best life. The daughter of a multimillionaire hedge fund manager, Lauren lives a life of luxury partying and spending her parents money like it grows on trees. with no clear direction, she seemingly stumbles her way through life. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers her hidden talent- Stand up comedy. After revealing to her parents her desire to become a stand up comedian, they strongly object. Refusing to support her extravagant lifestyle any longer they cut her off financially. Now forced to make it on her own she begins a journey that takes her from her comfortable downtown luxury penthouse to a unknown small uptown Manhattan apartment with her new roommate Robyn Carter and their neighbor Carla Lopez. These uptown girls form an unlikely bond. Fighting for their dreams in a city that never sleeps.

Lauren "sunshine" Kennedy- White Female 24 years old Born June 6th 1998 in soho New York to rich and successful parents, she is spoiled has never had a "real job" loves to party, shop. has a rare funny since of humor. after being cut off and laughed at by her peers she is determined make it on her right.
Robyn Carter- Born September 24th 1996 in Queens, New York, Biracial female 26 years old, she is very intelligent also woke/socially conscious . Raised by two loving parents that struggled to make ends meet. she is a professional film actress trying to catch her big break.
Carla Lopez- A 27 year old Latina female, born in the south bronx. lives next door to Robin loves to dance is extremely outgoing and flirtatious. a born hustler never has a steady job but always finding sketchy ways to make money.
Giavoni Jones- Black American Male 28 years old, very mature, artistic painter. A true renaissance man and long time boyfriend to Robyn. Dropped out of college to pursue his passion of a painting full time
Adam Kennedy- 57 year old white male, humble, hard working, soft spoken. hedge fund manager inherited his wealth from his father. took over the family business Kennedy Associates LLC at the tender age of 23.
Rene Kennedy- 53 year old white female, works as an accountant at Kennedy Associates LLC. always dresses fancy. very outspoken, can be loud overly dramatic.

Justin Griffin- White male 25, Lauren's boyfriend, loves to write poetry and play his guitar. he is a bohemian, much like Lauren he lives off of his parents
