4 types of cell processes include:
diffusion
is movement of molecules from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration through types of transport like passive(diffusion without the use of energy from high-low), active (diffusion with energy and special pump from low to high) or facilitated (diffusion from high-low with energy and proteins that form across the membrane).
facilitated diffusion
Facilitated diffusion is where the cell uses low amount of energy to transport molecules from high amounts to low amounts with the use of energy and the help of proteins that forms along the cell membrane.
osmosis
Osmosis is the process where there is movement of water from an area of low solute concentration to an area of high solute concentration. This is referring specifically to the movement of water.
active transport
Active transport is where the cell uses of energy and a special pump to move molecules from areas of low concentration to high areas of concentration
