Parent/Student Information

Online registration for next year is now open! We encourage you to register your students as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the office.

Honor Roll field trip to Bullwinkles will be happening on Wednesday, June 1st. If you student was eligible for this field trip, they brought home a permission slip. Lunch will be provided for them on this day.

No Detention field trip to the McMinnville Cinemas to watch "The Bad Guys" will be happening on Thursday, June 2nd. If you student is eligible for this field trip, they brought home a permission slip. Students who were at Outdoor School will get theirs on Tuesday. The permission slips are due by Wednesday, June 1st.

Just a friendly reminder that our dress code, per the student handbook, states that "clothing may not depict, advertise or advocate the use of alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, weapons or other controlled substances." You can review the dress code found on page 4 of the student handbook.

8th Grade Information

8th Grade Promotion will be Saturday, June 11th at the Amity High School Football Field at 5pm. We look forward to watching our students get promoted into high school and wish them the best of luck!

8th Grade check will happen the week of June 6th. During this time your student will need to return all library books, textbooks and clear any fees that may be in their account.

8th Grade field trip to Oaks Park will happen on Thursday, June 9th. In order for your student to attend this field trip they must be cleared by each teacher, the library and office. All fees must be paid. If you have any questions, please contact the office.

6th/7th Grade Outdoor School

We would like to thank all the parents that helped out at Outdoor School this past week. If it wasn't for all of you, Outdoor School would not have been as successful and smooth.

Amity Adventures

We have exciting news!!! AMS is happy to announce that we are offering two trips next year for students currently enrolled in grades 5 through 7 at Amity School District. If you are interested in attending either of these trips, please contact Miss Jeanna.

Leadership/Warriors Serve

Leadership would like to announce that Warriors Night Out has changed to Friday, June 3rd after school. The leadership team has a ton of fun outdoor games, snacks and fun to be had. The cost to attend will be $2. Bring extra money if you would like to purchase popcorn or snacks.

Warriors Serve will be accepting applications for next year's team beginning in the fall. Pick up an application at the office. If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Prevett or Mrs. Johnson for any questions.

Spring Sports

Spring Sports Awards for the Track team will be Wednesday, June 1st at 5:30pm in the AMS Cafeteria. We look forward to seeing you there!

Be on a look out for an sports camps hosted by our high school athletics program during the summer. Here is what we know at this time:

Middle School Football Camp hosted by Amity High School Football Program will be Monday, August 8th from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

All American Volleyball Camp hosted by Amity High School Volleyball Program will be Thursday, August 4th- Friday, August 5th at the Amity High School Main Gym from 3:30pm-5:30pm. The cost to attend this camp is $65 per camper. Forms are available at the front office.

1. If you student is sick, please do not send them to school. We ask that you call the office at 503-835-0518, to excuse your student for being out. If your student becomes ill during the day, a parent or guardian will be contacted.

Amity Middle School will follow all Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Department of Education mandates regarding COVID protocols, including increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

All students are required to pay a student body fee of $15. Your student will receive their student body card and will be welcome to attend student body activities as long as their student body fee is paid.

Sports fees are $50 per sport with the exception of Trap Team (clay shooting). Information for Trap Team fees will be made available upon sign ups. These payments are required prior to the first competition.

Mr. Ludwig is hosting a Strategies Game Day that will meet on Wednesday's from 3:15pm-5pm in the Tech Bungalow (Mr. Ludwig's class room). Students are welcome to attend this, hey, you may even learn how to play some new games!

Breakfast and lunches will be free to all students in the district again this year. Below is a link to access the menus on the district website. However, there are always paper copies located at the front of the middle school office for parents and students to grab.
