Kind people gave him food and water and asked rescues on Facebook for help. But... no one helped. No one came forward to help this poor little dog so we did. We simply couldn't turn our back on him. Knowing he was there on that dangerous spot on his own with no chance to survive any longer.
We named him Scooby. Scooby is safe. We brought him to Ino-vet in Kumanovo. Shortly after his arrival at the vets he had parvo. To think he would have died alone on that spot with parvo is just unbearable. Scooby is a real fighter and the vet team is amazing. He loves his stay at the vet clinic and his playmate Feli. His tail is wagging all the time and he is just a bundle of joy to everyone. He receives daily excercises for his mobility and makes good progress. Emily Ja is visiting him as much as she can.
Once he is fit enough he will travel to his forever home: the Raggie Dog Retreat in France.
You can follow his journey on this special webpage and donate for his treatmant, pension costs and travel costs via Gofundme or via the Paypal of the Raggie Dog Retreat.
vaccination received
Friday, August 19 2022. Scooby has received his first vaccination.
A new update about Scooby. He really enjoys his stay at the clinic. He has his own private garden and is making good progress. Feli is like a mum for him. What an adorable and patient sweetheart she is.
Scooby is doing great. Not long now before he starts his journey to his forever home in France... together with a lot of other lucky dogs he will be on the happy bus to Calais. From there a private transport will bring him to the Raggie Dog Retreat.
Scooby enjoys his time in pension
Scooby weights 13 kilo. That small little puppy we found back in July 2022 is a big lad now. We are so proud of him and the vet team. Scooby is not neutered yet, that will be done in France. He is still too young and his body will need the hormones to develop. He is exporing the world and making friends. His legs improved a lot...
