The formation of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) were successful in getting their points across to other by protests and many other actions. In 1914, there were about 6,000 members and 50 branches and as segregation and Jim Crow Laws became a bigger problem, these branches and members greatly grew. They never gave up and were very successful in the end to put an end to Jim Crow laws that ended segregation.
Many historical figures, such as Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. have successfully contributed greatly to the fall of the unfair Jim Crow laws.
