Feudalism Definition- the dominant social system in medieval Europe, in which the nobility held lands from the Crown in exchange for military service, and vassals were in turn tenants of the nobles, while the peasants (villeins or serfs) were obliged to live on their lord's land and give him homage, labor, and a share of the produce, notionally in exchange for military protection.
Manor definition- A landed estate or territorial unit, originally of the nature of a feudal lordship, consisting of a lord's demesne and of lands within which he has the right to exercise certain privileges, exact certain fees, etc the mansion of a lord with the land belonging to it.
People who lived in the manor- king, noblemen, bishops, knights, nuns, monks, servants, peasants, and soldiers.
Explain how the society groups are interdependent- The slaves peasant and the servants were treated poorly and couldn't do half of the things the kings or the noblemen could do. The servants have to live on the kings land and pay him.
How does the feudal system affect politics?- the feudal system is good for the rich and popular people for politics but not for the poor people. The serfs wouldn't be included in any political issues or voting's. The judges would only invite the rich and popular people to listen to people who broke the law.
How does the feudal system affect social structure?- If you were born into a poor social structure then you couldn't be king, lord, or noblemen. You could only become a knight. If the feudal system starts to not support the social structures then every thing will start to get bad.
How does the feudal system affect the economy?- If the feudal system fell apart then there would be no economy. There would be no knights to protect your land then attackers would destroy the land.
