Cheers to Last Season!

As Alex Jones, one of our Solo Chairs, stated in a Facebook post, "Many thanks to all the volunteer chiefs and officers and just plain old volunteers. We couldn’t pull off our season without your support! The last event of the season was an exciting day with changing conditions with lots of lead changes throughout the day. Already looking forward to the 2022 season!" We hope to see you all back at the Owens CEP and the TEA in a few months.

Clutch Chatter 2.0 Random Fact!

Blues Brothers held the record for the most cars smashed (103) until its own sequel deliberately destroyed just one more (104). For the 1980 film’s main chase, 60 police cars were bought for $400 a piece, and outfitted with reinforced chassis. Most of the cars were unsalvageable by the time filming was over.
