Welcome to our new members of staff
Our school is growing and there are likely to be over 400 students enrolled in Term One. So, it is with great pleasure that I would like to introduce you to the new teachers who will be joining our expanding school.
Ms Beccy, as you know will be joining the school as Headteacher. Ms Beccy and I are in constant contact now.
We will also be welcoming further specialist teachers in Secondary: Ms Natalie (Maths), Ms Barbara (English), Mr Tom (English), Ms Maria (Spanish) and Ms Laura Jane (Science).
Ms Kaleigh, whom some of you remember with great warmth, will be returning to KS2. Mr Sam will be joining our Early Years Team and Mr Dan will be joining our KS1 team.

Introduction to Dr Jaruwan, Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrician
I am delighted to introduce Dr Jaruwan to you. Dr Jaruwan will undertaking outreach work with HHIS from next term and will be available to offer support to students and parents. As you can see from her letter of introduction and biography in the links below, Dr Jaruwan is a hugely experienced practitioner and is a co-founder of the Merak Clinic in Bangkok.
Dr Jaruwan is keen to meet parents and is offering to provide workshops from the beginning of term 1. Bringing up children is the most precious but challenging job and as parents we do not get much preparation. So I am extremely pleased that Dr Jaruwan will be on hand to provide support to HHIS parents.

School Lunches - Epicure
I have had a very fruitful review of lunch menus with Mr Walter Pfuger, Director of International Cuisine from our caterers, Epicure. Menus will rotate every three weeks and will take more account of the many different nationalities of our students. Here is a link to a sample menu: Huahin Menu As you can see, the range has a much more international flavour. The company has also responded to students’ comments regarding likes and dislikes. These changes are in the process of being implemented and I hope that students will taste some differences before the end of this term.
Year 6 Residential
Year 6 returned to school after their residential visit to Kanchanaburi icamp buzzing with stories of their adventures. The photos tell their own story of laughter, challenges, team work and fun. Thank you to Mr Rob, K Boonta, Ms Som and Mr Joe and also to Mr Tam who organised the visit for the students but then had to miss out on all the fun.

ยินดีต้อนรับสมาชิกใหม่ของโรงเรียน
โรงเรียนเติบโตขึ้นเรื่อยๆ และดูเหมือนว่านักเรียนจะมีจำนวนมากกว่า 400 คน ที่จะเข้าเรียนในภาคการศึกษาที่ 1 และเรามีความยินดีที่จะแนะนำครูใหม่ที่จะมาร่วมทีมในการขยายโรงเรียนที่เติบโตขึ้น
โดย Ms Beccy จะมาร่วมงานกับโรงเรียนในตำแหน่งครูใหญ่ ซึ่งเราได้ติดต่อกันตลอดเวลา
เรายังยินดีต้อนรับครูชำนาญการเฉพาะทางในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษา ประกอบด้วย Ms Natalie (Maths), Ms Barbara (English), Mr Tom (English), Ms Maria (Spanish) และ Ms Laura Jane (Science).

ขอแนะนำ พญ. จารุวรรณ กุมารแพทย์พัฒนาการและพฤติกรรม
เรามีความยินดีแนะนำแพทย์หญิงจารุวรรณแก่ผู้ปกครองทุกท่าน โดยพญ.จารุวรรณจะมาทำงานร่วมกับโรงเรียนนานาชาติหัวหินในภาคการศึกษาหน้า และจะคอยให้การสนับสนุนนักเรียนและผู้ปกครอง ตามที่ผู้ปกครองได้เห็นจดหมายแนะนำและประวัติในลิ้งค์ด้านล่าง พญ.จารุวรรณ มีประสบการณ์สูงและเป็นผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งมีรัก คลีนิค กรุงเทพมหานคร

อาหารกลางวันโรงเรียน - บริษัท เอ็บเพอคิวร์
เราได้มีการประชุมเรื่องเมนูอาหารกลางวันกับ Mr Walter Pfuger, Director of International Cuisine จากบริษัท เอ็บเพอคิวร์ เคเทอริ่ง โดยเมนูจะสลับหมุนเวียนกันทุกๆ 3 สัปดาห์ และจะคำนึงถึงสัญชาติของนักเรียนของเรามากขึ้น โปรดดูรายการอาหารตัวอย่างที่ลิ้งค์นี้ Huahin Menu ตามที่ผู้ปกครองเห็น มีความหลากหลายของอาหารนานาชาติ โดยบริษัทได้มีการตอบกลับคำแนะนำของนักเรียนในสิ่งที่ชอบและไม่ชอบ ซึ่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่ในขั้นตอนการพัฒนา และเราหวังว่านักเรียนจะได้ลิ้มรสอาหารที่แตกต่างก่อนปิดภาคการศึกษานี้
นักดนตรีประจำเดือน
นักดนตรีประจำเดือนสุดท้ายสำหรับปีการศึกษานี้ สมควรได้รับรางวัลและแสดงความยินดีได้แก่ Pur (6T) และ Ben (8Ma) เป็นเวลา 1 ปีแล้ว สำหรับนักดนตรีทั้งหมดของโรงเรียน และเรายังมีการจัดแสดง Summer Concert และ ‘Peter Pan’ ที่เราตั้งตารอคอยชม
การไปทัศนศึกษานักเรียนชั้น Y6
นักเรียนชั้น Y6 ได้กลับมาจากการไปทัศนศึกษาที่ ไอแคมป์ ไทยแลนด์ จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี พร้อมด้วยเรื่องราวผจญภัยต่างๆ มากมาย โดยรูปถ่ายของพวกเขาสามารถบอกเรื่องราวของเสียงหัวเราะ ความท้าทาย การทำงานร่วมกันเป็นทีม และความสนุกสนาน ขอขอบคุณ Mr Rob, K Boonta, Ms Som และ Mr Joe พร้อมทั้ง Mr Tam ผู้จัดกิจกรรมการไปทัศนศึกษาของนักเรียน แต่พลาดโอกาสความสนุกสนานดังกล่าว
