I created this series to show the different ways art can portray the land and to show appreciation for the mythical realms. As I am very curious about the mystic ways and the world of witches. I cant say that I’ve ever dabbled with witchcraft but I’ve come very close to. However, I couldn’t practice due to living with my family who are super religious. I hope one day I can practice freely without worry or prejudice. I named each witch after one of my bestfriends, and each witch has her own realm and land. As i created these witchea i wanted to create a variety of skin tones as it is important to me for my art to be inclusive. I know I strayed away from my original project but I really was inspired to create this and tried to incorporate some of the original ideas from the initial project I wrote about earlier in the semester. Each realm has different textures, source of light, and different structure. Just like the earth today and the difference in the land of various countries. You can see how the environment is differently portrayed in each land. As each land has a unique landscape.
