Creatively designed Halloween houses indicate revitalized excitement around holiday By Tristan Gonzalez '24

As Halloween is only a few days away, houses are prepared for trick-or-treaters with their unique and rigorous decorations. This year will be the first Halloween of almost full normalcy since 2019. With COVID being an issue of the past in many people's eyes, these houses are setting the tone for a spirit-filled Halloween.

For this holiday, many people have taken the initiative to transform their whole yard, making it infested with webs, skeletons and a variety of Halloween-themed components.

Another popular decoration that trick-or-treaters can expect to see are blow-up figures. Whether they are pumpkin heads, ghosts or cats, they certainly enhance the spirit of the houses.

Other houses, while maybe not decorated to the same extent as others, are sure to catch the eye of trick-or-treaters. Some people, instead of trying to make their houses as scary as possible, opted to present funny, unusual decorations.

Whether you are trick-or-treating this Halloween, going to a party, watching a scary movie or dressing up, it is fair to say that with COVID being less of an issue this year, Halloween will be filled with more enthusiasm and spirit.
