Light trails and the Aurora - another favourite of mine. First time I had seen a full display of the northern light rather than just a faint green glow, the first week in October and the greens,reds and purples could be seen over the light pollution of Greenock town

Fireworks night in Greenock, the free French memorial light up in red for rememberance day and the fireworks from the battery park. This one was used by Inverclyde now as the cover for their fireworks album

Night time at Portencross, I had gone down to try and catch the northern lights but thick cloud put paid to that, managed a couple with a green glow showing through but think I prefer this one with the movement in the cloud and the occasional star
