Small Steps Local businesses gather to support this award winning, Local youth charity
Trustees, staff and local business owners met at the new Newtown premises to celebrate the charity's progress and recent success at the Powys Business Awards.
The Small Steps Project works with young adults aged 16 to 25 to offer early intervention for those at risk of mental health problems or those already suffering mental distress such as depression, anxiety or who are self-harming.
Small Steps aim to support young adults suffering from or at risk of mental illness. They are based in Newtown, Mid Wales, and provide a planned recovery programme adjusted to individual needs and aimed at the development of life skills, the restoration of self-respect and the resumption of meaningful activities.
