Hello! My name is Kevin Chhay. I am a recent graduate at California State University of Fullerton majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I am pursuing a role in the Marketing field, with an emphasis on industries that relate to some of my passions like EDM, gaming, themed entertainment and pop culture. Recently, I have been using my extensive knowledge on PC gaming to build complete systems for a service fee on the side. I am currently involved in a marketing role for Zodiak Events, an emerging music event promoter that highlights AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) EDM artists.
During my past jobs, I have been considered for lead positions after a short time due to my ability to adjust quickly to the role and express leadership qualities. I am a hard worker who will go above and beyond to make sure goals are met and have been recognized by the Walt Disney Company for doing so.
Personal Interests
My interest for Marketing started in 2012 when I attended my very first San Diego Comic-Con, the biggest pop culture convention in the world. Seeing all the creative ways companies were promoting their product at the booths, panels, overlays, and pop-ups around the city made me realize I have a great interest for this field and have attended every year since. I am also very passionate with EDM (electronic dance music) and festivals. I attend dozens of these events and concerts annually since 2012 and even have an Insomniac Passport membership (an invite only festival subscription service).
