One of the ways you can support our ministry during this crisis is through prayer.
We invite you to join us in prayer over Bread of Hope and our efforts to continue taking the gospel to the unreached Wayuu people in Venezuela and Colombia.
Each week we will post an updated prayer guide for you to be able to follow along with us.
We are encouraged by this passage of scripture as we begin this time of prayer with you.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Phillipians 4:6
PRAISE
First, let's begin our prayer time together by praising and worshipping our Lord & Savior.
PRAISE God for His protection and faithfulness.
Today, no cases of COVID-19 are reported in any of the communities where we work in Colombia and Venezuela.
PRAISE God for the opportunities that He is giving us to share about the HOPE that is found in Jesus.
We are encouraged by the Wayuu pastors and churches that are continuing to share the Gospel in their communities during this crisis. We will continue to work alongside them to empower and support them.
PRAISE God for allowing us to stay connected during this pandemic.
We are thankful for the technology and media resources that allow us to remain connected with our local staff and volunteers in Colombia and Venezuela.
PRAY
PRAY for the Wayuu people as they prepare for the effects of COVID-19.
Pray for health and safety among the Wayuu people during this crisis. We expect the current situation to have a profound impact on the Wayuu people who live on a day by day basis.
PRAY for our Bread of Hope staff in Venezuela and Colombia.
Pray for wisdom and discernment for our staff members in Venezuela and Colombia as they continue to bring support and encouragement to local Wayuu churches and communities.
PRAY for the Hope Teams
These teams are formed of Sembradores (Pastors graduated from the Bible Training) and their disciples.
Pray that God will give them wisdom as they share the Gospel of truth in their communities and bring HOPE during these difficult times.
A Message from our Brother, Charito Uriana...
“I want my brothers and sisters in the United States to know that we are praying for them, I think about them everyday and I am concerned about their welfare. I pray we can see each other again”
Charito is one of our new Sembradores who started the program in January of this year.
Charito is a disciple of Willinton Uriana (Graduate from the first group of Sembradores).
Thank you for joining with us for weekly prayer! We thank God for you!
We are praying for you...
that "the PEACE of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:7
