Read a book!

We saved the best for last. In addition to the UCLA Library's ebook and print book collections, LA-based Bruins have access to even more free reading material via the Los Angeles Public Library and Los Angeles County Library systems.

If you don't mind shelling out money for books, LA is home a couple dozen wonderful bookstores that need support more than ever. And no matter where you're riding out the pandemic, you can find a local independent bookstore to order from via Bookshop.org.

And, because we could all use an escape from *this* reality...

Science Fiction & Fantasy selections from the UCLA Library

Pandemic, pandemonium, and the inevitable post-apocalyptic life? Not ever, hopefully. Immerse yourself vicariously through story in these standalones or trilogies!
