Spring Term 2b week 1

Stephen has taken on the role of listening to David read every day. Well done Stephen that is very kind and helpful.

We have 2 children in Golden Book this week. Mrs Caffrey presented Riley with his certificate in class.

Evelyn was really kind and said well done to Riley.

We have continued reading our text. The family have moved into a block of flats at the other side of the city. The children wrote some questions for the family.

We had a fantastic speaking and listening session. The children took on the roles of Isabel and her family speaking to their new neighbours in the flats.

Today the children recorded themselves reading their sentences.

Lots of lovely division work this week. The level of work is matched to each child’s ability.

We started adding the value of different coins. The children worked at their own pace and added the coins they were familiar with.

It has been lovely to see the children working independently on learning tasks this week.
