Dear Parents
Christmas events were launched this week with both our choirs performing beautifully at the Marriott Hotel for the annual lighting up of the Christmas Tree ceremony. The choirs will also be performing at the Cicada Market on Friday December 2nd. Please do come and support them if you can. They will also be performing at our own Christmas Fair on Thursday December 1st
Latest news is that 9000thb was raised for ‘Operation Smile’ through donations at the Choirs’ performances at the Marriott. Thank you!
Shoe Box Appeal
Kym, Tommy, Alma and Nathan are leading this year’s Shoe Box Appeal in collaboration with Jungle Aid. Giving is at the heart of Christmas celebrations; this project provides the opportunity to choose small gifts for children less fortunate than themselves. The boxes can be filled with items such as small toys, clothes, soaps, pencils or crayons. Jungle aid will be collecting the boxes for distribution on December 2nd. Thank you for your support.
Green Christmas Fair - Thursday December 1st
Students in Years 5,6 and 10 will be welcoming you all to the Green Christmas Fair. The Fair aims to raise funds for ‘Operation Smile’ and also promote sustainability.
One stall to draw particular attention to is the NFT stall. Students from the NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) ECA have been busy creating NFT’s with AI art programs. There will be a stall at the Christmas fair enabling students and parents to donate any amount of money they choose in exchange for an NFT.
We are very happy to be able to invite parents to the fair this year, so please do come if you can. The fair will be from 9:00am to 11:30pm and if possible, we ask secondary parents to attend before 10:15 and Primary parents to attend after 10:30.
Coupons will be on sale from Monday November 28th.
Duke of Edinburgh
Congratulations to our intrepid students who have now completed their first practice journey as part of their Bronze award. Throughout Term 1 and the DofE ECA, they have shown great skill and dedication in preparing for this first step. During the journey to Kaeng Krachan National Park, students had to show great resilience and work together to navigate their way through challenging terrain. Our students will now have to complete a further expedition in 2023 which will be assessed as part of the final DofE Bronze award. Thanks to Mr Alasdair, Mr Alex and Ms Emma for providing this memorable experience for the students.

งานวันคริสต์มาสได้จัดขึ้นในสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา พร้อมทั้งการแสดงร้องเพลงประสานเสียงที่ไพเราะ ณ โรงแรมแมริออท ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปีในเทศกาลเปิดไฟต้นคริสต์มาส โดยการร้องเพลงประสานเสียงจะจัดขึ้นอีกครั้ง ณ ตลาดซิเคด้า หัวหิน ในวันศุกร์ที่ 2 ธันวาคม 2565 ขอเรียนเชิญผู้ปกครองมาร่วมงาน หากสามารถมาร่วมงานได้ และพวกเขาจะแสดงในงานคริสต์มาสแฟร์ วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 1 ธันวาคม 2565 ด้วยอีกครั้ง
เราได้รับเงินบริจาคจากการแสดงร้องเพลงประสานเสียง ณ โรงแรมแมริออท จำนวน 9,000 บาท ซึ่งจะมอบให้แก่มูลนิธิสร้างรอยยิ้ม ขอบคุณทุกท่านที่สนับสนุน
บริจาคของขวัญ
Kym, Tommy, Alma และ Nathan ร่วมกันช่วยสนับสนุนการบริจาคของขวัญ ซึ่งจัดร่วมกับมูลนิธิ Jungle Aid การให้ถือเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของการเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลคริสต์มาส โดยโครงการนี้เปิดโอกาสให้เลือกของขวัญเล็กๆ น้อยๆ สำหรับเด็กด้อยโอกาส ซึ่งกล่องของขวัญสามารถใส่ของเล็กๆ น้อยๆ เช่น ของเล่น เสื้อผ้า สบู่ ดินสอ หรือ ดินสอสี มูลนิธิ Jungle Aid จะมารับกล่องของขวัญสำหรับการบริจาคในวันที่ 2 ธันวาคม 2565 ขอขอบคุณที่ช่วยสนับสนุน
งาน กรีน คริสต์มาสแฟร์ - วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 1 ธันวาคม 2565
นักเรียนชั้น Y5-6 และ Y10 จะต้อนรับผู้ปกครองทุกท่านเข้าร่วมงานกรีนคริสต์มาสแฟร์ โดยงานแฟร์มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อระดมทุนบริจาคให้แก่มูลนิธิสร้างรอยยิ้ม และสร้างเสริมความยั่งยืน
หนึ่งบูธที่จะได้รับความสนใจเป็นพิเศษได้แก่ บูธ NFT จากนักเรียน NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) กิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตร ECA จะค่อนข้างยุ่งกับการเตรียมผลงาน NFT ร่วมกับโปรแกรมศิลปะ AI ภายในงานจะมีบูธต่างๆ สำหรับขายของมากมาย เพื่อให้นักเรียนและผู้ปกครองได้บริจาคเงินไม่จำกัดจำนวนที่พวกเขาเลือก เพื่อแลกกับ NFT
พวกเรามีความยินดีอย่างมาก และขอเรียนเชิญผู้ปกครองเข้าร่วมงานคริสต์มาสแฟร์ในปีนี้ ขอเรียนเชิญ หากผู้ปกครองสามารถมาร่วมงานได้ ตั้งแต่เวลา 9.00 น. ถึง 11.30 น. และหากเป็นไปได้ ขอเรียนเชิญผู้ปกครองชั้นมัธยมศึกษาเข้าร่วมงานก่อนเวลา 10.15 น. และผู้ปกครองชั้นประถมศึกษาเข้าร่วมงานหลังเวลา 10.30 น.

ขอขอบคุณการบริจาคเงินเพื่อซื้อดอกป๊อบปี้ รวมทั้งหมดจำนวน 3,100 บาท เพื่อสนับสนุนครอบครัวทหารผ่านศึกชาวอังกฤษในประเทศไทย
กิจกรรม Duke of Edinburgh
ขอแสดงความยินดีแก่นักเรียนผู้กล้าหาญ ที่สำเร็จการฝึกเดินทางแบบสมบูรณ์ และเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรม Duke of Edinburgh ECA ระดับทองแดง ตลอดทั้งภาคการศึกษาที่ 1 และกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตร Duke of Edinburgh ECA พวกเขาจะแสดงให้เห็นถึงทักษะที่ยอดเยี่ยม และความทุ่มเทอย่างมากมายในการเตรียมตัวสำหรับก้าวแรก สำหรับการเดินทางไปอุทยานแห่งชาติแก่งกระจาน นักเรียนต้องแสดงถึงความแข็งแกร่งและการทำงานร่วมกัน เพื่อหาเส้นทางผ่านภูมิประเทศ โดยนักเรียนจะสำเร็จหลักสูตรในปี 2566 ซึ่งจะได้รับการประเมินครั้งสุดท้ายในกิจกรรม Duke of Edinburgh ระดับทองแดง ขอขอบคุณ Mr Alasdair Mr Alex และ Ms Emma สำหรับการจัดเตรียมและมอบประสบการณ์อันน่าจดจำนี้ให้แก่นักเรียน
