Led by professional photographers Bob and Dawn Davis, this safari promises to be an experience like no other. You'll have the opportunity to capture the beauty of the Super Tusker Elephants, among other iconic wildlife species, in their natural habitats. Imagine watching these majestic creatures gather together in the early morning light, as the sun illuminates their stunning red dirt-covered skin, and Mount Kilimanjaro stands in the distance. To take this even further, we are delighted to announce that a portion of the proceeds from the workshop and print sales will be donated to The Tsavo Trust, an organization that is doing phenomenal work on the ground in protecting these gentle giants and other critical species of Africa.

The Super Tusker Elephants of Amboseli are facing a critical plight. These magnificent creatures, known for their enormous tusks, are rapidly disappearing due to poaching, habitat loss, and human-wildlife conflict. With only a handful of Super Tuskers left in the world, time is running out to save these incredible animals from extinction. We must act now to protect their habitats, raise awareness about the urgent need for conservation, and take strong action to stop poaching and other threats to their survival. Without immediate action, we risk losing these majestic creatures forever, along with a piece of our planet's natural heritage.

ABOUT: We're excited to invite you to join us, Bob and Dawn Davis, for a once-in-a-lifetime Kenyan adventure! This trip is all about immersing yourself in photography, storytelling, and exploration of unique experiences. For 10 days, we'll be focusing on wildlife, travel, and landscape photography while exploring the Amboseli, Tsavo, and Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. You won't find a higher concentration of big game anywhere else, including wild lions, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, hippos, and elephants - and that's just the start!

As part of this amazing safari experience, we'll also be visiting beloved wildlife sanctuaries where you'll get up close and personal with giraffes, and you'll have some rare private time with rescued elephant calves. Plus, we'll be spending time at Amboseli National Park, located at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which is home to over 40 raptors, including the largest population of Martial Eagles in Africa.

But that's not all - we'll be traveling through game parks in small groups via custom-built safari vans that are perfect for photographers. With experienced guides by our side, you'll have plenty of opportunities for jaw-dropping wildlife encounters while still having plenty of space to capture the perfect shot.

Of course, we'll be there every step of the way, guiding you photographically and offering one-on-one time with participants, in addition to photo critiques, post-processing lab time, and detailed image walkthroughs. And, we'll be staying in 5-star accommodations, savoring incredible meals, and enjoying wonderful conversation about our daily adventures.

TERMS: $2,500.00 per attendee non-refundable retainer is required to secure your spot on this Safari. Half of the remaining balance is due 180 days (six months) before the start of your trip and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 90 days before the start of the trip. Need special payment arrangements? No problem, contact us. These payments for this trip are non-refundable under any circumstances, as noted in our Payment Terms for International Photography Trips and our other standard Terms and Conditions, which is why we recommend that you get trip cancellation insurance. Our trip occur in international locations that require international travel and lodging arrangements, substantial planning, insurance, deposits, and permits. If you wish to protect your investment in the trip and travel costs, you may want to investigate travel insurance with a carrier such as Travelex. If we do not receive your payment for the balance on or before the due date, your seat will become available to someone else, and you will lose your retainer.

LOGISTICS: We want to let you know that some of our workshops might involve hiking, boat landings, and other similar activities. We always do our best to make sure everyone is comfortable and to minimize any physical strain, but we understand that it may still be a bit challenging for some. If you have any concerns about this, please don't hesitate to talk to us about it. You're not obligated to participate in all of the activities, and we'll do everything we can to make sure your needs are taken care of. So, let us know what you need and we'll work with you to make it happen.

PAYMENT: To secure your spot for our workshop, we require an initial non-refundable and non-transferrable fee. The remaining balance is due in full 60 days prior to the workshop date, unless otherwise stated. If we don't receive the balance on or before the due date, we'll attempt to fill your spot from our waiting list, and unfortunately, your initial retainer (which is non-refundable) will be forfeited.

PAYMENT OPTIONS: You can pay for our workshop via Zelle, we are registered with email dawn@bobanddawndavis.com. You can also pay via personal check, cashier's check, or money order, made payable in U.S. funds to Davis Designs Ent. Inc. Please get in touch with us to get the address where you can mail your payment.

TRIP INSURANCE: Bob & Dawn Davis of Davis Designs Ent. Inc. will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered aboard an airplane, boat, a charter plane, or any part during our workshops. This is why we highly recommend trip insurance. Before you’re even able to finish packing, an unforeseen circumstance could force a cancellation of your trip. For instance, you become ill or have a death in the family, which delays or prevents you from reaching your destination. Furthermore, if you, a family member or a travel companion becomes sick or is injured while traveling, the policy’s trip cancellation feature typically would reimburse you for the unused part of the trip. Travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage will reimburse the pre-paid, non-refundable costs of your trip in these kinds of situations. Note: You can make a claim using trip cancellation coverage only if your reason for canceling is listed in the policy you purchase as an acceptable reason. Multiple insurance quotes will be provided for your trip value and you will be able to view them side by side so that you may compare the features of each. The contract or ticket issued by them will constitute the sole contract between the airline or charter company with the passenger.

CANCELLATIONS, DELAYS & REFUNDS: We highly recommend that you get Trip or Travel Insurance to protect yourself in case of any travel difficulties or losses that may arise beyond our control as listed above in the Trip Insurance paragraph. Please note that Bob & Dawn Davis of Davis Designs Ent. Inc. cannot be held responsible for such situations. We want to emphasize the importance of having insurance and strongly encourage all our participants to obtain Trip or Travel Insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may occur before or during the trip.

CANCELLATION: Please keep in mind that we do NOT offer refunds for cancellations made within 120 days of a workshop, even if the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances. To ensure you're covered in case anything unexpected comes up, we highly recommend obtaining Trip/Travel Insurance. This will provide you with protection for things like physical events such as weather disruptions, acts of God, others like government actions or terror threats, epidemics or pandemics, and/or any other cause that's out of our control. We want you to feel confident and secure during your travels, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

CHANGES IN ITINERARY: We want you to know that we're committed to providing you with the best possible experience on our trips. However, we do reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary if circumstances beyond our control, or natural forces require it. Unfortunately, in these cases, we won't be able to offer refunds. We understand that this may be disappointing, but we're always willing to work with you to find a solution that works for everyone. Depending on the situation, we'll do our best to apply 100% of your deposit toward a future trip. Our goal is to make sure you have a wonderful time, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns!

ADMIN FEE: We're always happy to work with you to make sure you get the most out of your experience at one of our workshops. If you need to switch to a different workshop, let us know in writing and within the specified time period in the payment terms, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Please note that a $250 fee will apply for any workshop date changes. We want to make sure we have everything in order and that we're able to provide you with the best possible experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

WEATHER DELAYS: We want to make sure you're aware that we can't offer refunds for any weather-related delays or cancellations before or during the workshop. We understand that this can be frustrating, but unfortunately, it's beyond our control. Please note that Bob & Dawn Davis of Davis Designs Ent. Inc. can't be held responsible for any extra costs you may incur due to weather delays, flight delays, or any other unexpected circumstances. That's why we can't stress enough how important it is to have trip insurance in place. With trip insurance, you'll have peace of mind knowing that you're covered in case anything goes wrong. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!

CONFIRMATION: We will confirm receipt of your payment by email and/or telephone, so you can be sure everything is in order. If we don't receive payment within 10 days of the booking date, we'll give you a courtesy call (provided you've given us your correct phone number) to make sure everything is okay. If we determine that payment was lost or delayed in the mail, we will work with you to find a solution that works, such as paying via Zelle, Overnight Express Mail, or wire transfer. We want to make sure you're able to maintain your reservations and have a fantastic time. However, if we're unable to reach you by the phone number provided, we'll have to release your spot in the workshop. So please make sure to provide us with the best way to reach you. If you have any questions about our policies or anything else, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here to help and make sure you have an amazing experience.

SIMPLE TERMS: We want to make sure our payment and booking policy is clear and easy to understand. If there's anything you're not sure about, please don't hesitate to ask us for more information. We're more than happy to explain anything that may not be clear, so you can feel confident and comfortable with our policy. If we don't hear from you, we'll assume that you understand our policy as it's written. We want you to have the best possible experience, so please don't be afraid to ask any questions you may have.

INDEMNIFICATION: Bob & Dawn Davis of Davis Designs Ent. Inc and all associated agents, representatives, employees, guides, joint ventures, partners, service providers, or providers of accommodations (hereafter referred to as the "Provider Group") maintain the right to decline the acceptance or retention of any participant, attendee, or other individual in a workshop. This applies regardless of whether a retainer has been accepted or if the workshop has already commenced and full payment has been made. The sole and absolute discretion of any member of the Provider Group determines whether such participant, attendee, or other individual has impeded the operation of the trip or has caused a disruption to the rights, safety, welfare, or enjoyment of other members of the trip. Refunds for any amounts paid to the Provider Group are subject to the following conditions: (i) refunds prior to departure for the workshop shall be made in accordance with the published policies of the Provider Group and (ii) refunds after the departure for the workshop, IF ANY, shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of the Provider Group. Please note that removal from a workshop in progress may result in the complete forfeiture of any amounts previously paid. Agreement to these terms and conditions is a condition precedent to enrollment in any workshop.
