Day 3
Explore Val di Funes
A storybook village in the heart of South Tyrol, Val di Funes is one of the most scenic places in Italy. Here you will experience a slower, more authentically European experience. Immerse yourself in places where time seems to stand still, surrounded by the silence and the panorama of the Dolomites with its rocky peaks and all around the scent of mother nature.
Day 4
Tre Cime di Lavaredo & Misurina Lake
Your full-day guided tour begins with scenic drive through the heart of South Tyrol. Your private guide will lead you on a leisurely hike through Tre Cime di Lavaredo, also called the Drei Zinnen. The three distinctive battlement-like peaks, in the Sexten Dolomites of northeastern Italy, are probably one of the best-known mountain groups in the Alps.
Next stop, Misurina Lake, the largest alpine lake in the Dolomites and one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in all of Italy.
Day 6
Welcome to Romantic Verona
Verona is a city in northern Italy’s Veneto region, with a medieval old town built between the meandering Adige River. It’s famous for being the setting of Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet." Visitors are enamored by a fairytale-like 14th-century residence with a tiny balcony overlooking a courtyard that is said to be “Juliet’s House." Another popular attraction, The Verona Arena, is a huge 1st-century Roman amphitheater, which currently hosts concerts and large-scale opera performances.
Day 8
Explore Lake Como on your own
Consider purchasing an open Lake Como Boat ticket and hop on, and hop-off to tour some of the quaint towns that surround the lake. Discover the most beautiful villas of Lake Como including Balbianello's Villa, Villa Carlotta and finally Villa Oleanda, home to George and Amal Clooney!
Day 9
Explore more of Lake Como
Suggested: Visit the town of Varenna. The village of Varenna is a picturesque fishing village, with colorful houses, located on the eastern shore of the lake. On the promontory behind it, stands the Castle of Vezio, an ancient military outpost where every afternoon intriguing demonstrations of falconry are staged … overlooking the lake! You will have the chance to watch a beautiful show in an evocative place and with a breathtaking view.
Day 10
Take the train from Milan to Florence
Your private driver will meet you at your Bellagio hotel and will escort you to Milan's train station to board your morning train to Florence. Once in Florence, a driver will be waiting to greet you and take you on a scenic tour through Tuscany's Chianti Hills, with two stops - first, exploring medieval San Gimignano on your own followed by a 2-hour guided tour of Siena. Your tour will end at your hotel in Bagno Vignoni.
Day 11
Enjoy free time in Bagno Vignoni
Bagno Vignoni is a tiny village in Val d'Orcia, Tuscany, with something unique: a main piazza entirely occupied by a large pool of natural spring water! In fact, this town was built around thermal hot springs. You'll have plenty of time to soak in the therapeutic waters while you stay at Albego La Terme Resort & Spa located right at the springs.
Day 12
Cooking class at Bagno Vignoni, followed by lunch
so much more than a cooking class, this hands-on experience is a path to discovering a fundamental part of local culture. Discover this land through its food and wine products that skilled hands know how to combine with skill to enhance its taste.
Day 13
