We serve with the mk2mk team, a ministry of Cru. mk2mk stands for Missionary Kid to Missionary Kid, and represents our model of equipping older MKs to disciple younger MKs. We raised 2 MKs (our sons) during our years as missionaries in Bulgaria. We now serve other missionary families on the field and in transition.
Our mission is to care for, resource and equip missionary families by discipling their kids, helping them thrive as they serve Christ on the mission field.
We care for MKs through:
- Regional Conferences: Meeting missionary needs in the field, where they gather for encouragement, vision and rest.
- Summer Missions: Trips designed for high school MKs, serving with ministry partners in various worldwide locations.
- Care Trips: to their cities, homes and schools to give personal mentoring, teaching, care and encouragement.
- Local Discipleship: Ministering to missionary families who have returned from the field, in Orlando where we are based.
- Virtual Ministry: Providing online care, connection and resources to the global community of MKs when we can't be with them in person.
