BRAD BEDORTHA

HEAD COACH

2021-2022
  • Originally from Oregon, Coach Bedortha is a 1990 graduate of Ferris State University where he was an All-Conference golfer and three-year letterwinner, helping the Bulldogs win league titles in 1988 and 1989.
  • Prior to coming to NAU in 2008, Coach Bedortha served as the head men and women’s coach at Ferris State starting in 2000.
  • Since he took over the NAU golf program in Spring 2008, the Lumberjacks have been consistent contenders for the Big Sky Championship.
  • Bedortha’s teams have won four Big Sky titles, finished in the top three in nine of the 13 conference tournaments he has coached and in the top five in all but one year.

  • Graduating from SUNY Louisianna Tech where she played soccer, Coach Emrick started working with the golf team in Fall 2022 after gaining previous experience at Colorado State and Golden, Colo. at Next Level Sports Performance.
