Rhett Martinez (Director) has been working in theatre and film for over 30 years as a playwright, actor, director, and producer. He earned a BFA in Theatre Studies from Boston University and his MFA in Directing from Brooklyn College. He and his wife, actress Sammi Sicinski, launched Bulletproof Rep Company. Together, they continue to produce original plays and independent films.
Abraham Zapata (Bob) is a Houston based artist who has worked in acting, writing, and directing. Recent credits include: Film Work: Sole Mates the Musical (Stan), HERZSTÜCK (Ein), Piss on a Sunflower (Bob). Mildred's Umbrella: El Huracan (Alonso). Catastrophic Theater: The Tamarie Cooper Show (multiple characters, 2011-2021), Curse of the Starving Class (Slater).
SAMMI SICINSKI (Chorus 1) Previous credits include Mildred’s Umbrella: Well, Oh My God. Horse Head Theatre: Advance Man. TEATRX: Sonia Flew. Obsidian Theater: A Drag Christmas Carol, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Young Frankenstein: The Musical. Rogue Productions: I Love You Because. Landing Theatre: All in the Timing, Devil Dog Six. Firecracker Productions: Becky Shaw. Queensbury Theatre: As Bees in Honey Drown. Sammi has a B.A. in theatre from The University of Houston.
JOHN DUNN (Chorus 2) Previous credits include: Speeding Motorcycle (Satan, ensemble), Jim Lehrer at the Theater and its Double and Jim Lehrer's Double (Jim Lehrer 2), and Tamarie Cooper at Catastrophic Theatre; RUR (Nana), The Return of Sherlock Holmes (Melas, Milverton), Enemy of the People (Aslaksen) at Classical Theatre; Enemies (ensemble),Wolf Hall (Thomas Wyatt) at Main Street Theater; Born Yesterday (ensemble) at Alley Theatre; Mac Wellman's Dracula (Jonathan Harker) and Carnival 'Round the Central Figure (Preacher) at Mildred's Umbrella.
ARIANNA BERMUDEZ CASE (Chorus 3) has been performing in Houston since 2009. She is board secretary of Mildred's Umbrella. Some of her favorite roles include: Medusa in Dollface, Ximena in El Huracan, Joyce/Curator in Caught, Prov in "Pulsate," and The Grocer's Wife in "Rhinoceros." Arianna received her B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University.
DILLON DEWITT (Chorus 4) Dillon has worked with: Wordsmyth Theater Company, Lionwoman Productions, Landing Theatre, Classical Theatre Company, Mildred's Umbrella Theatre Company, Fade to Black Reading Series, Ensemble Theater, Cone Man Running Productions, Obsidian Theatre.
