Brooklyn Bridge At Sunrise

We are so excited to have you on board for this epic journey. Together we will welcome in a new day with creativity and discovery.

I'll admit, mornings are not my thing but when ever I have managed to climb out of bed to see a sunrise it has always been rewarding. So let's greet NYC with a big ol' top of the morning to her.

This photowalk is for photographers looking to capture sunrise from an iconic location and practice some new composition techniques. We will be working on composition, framing and exposure bracketing.

What to expect? We will first head onto the bridge and casually walk 1/2 way across the bridge stopping at different locations. We will have views of the sunrise over Brooklyn while capturing the glow of the sun lighting up the Manhattan skyline. These are the best conditions as the bridge will be the least crowded.

Then we will walk back and spend time capturing the views from Dumbo. We will discuss composition, framing, symmetry and capturing motion to create unique images.

Bring your filters to capture long exposures and we will recap our shots and our experiences over a hot coffee at a near by cafe.
