Movement is the path that guides the viewers eyes through A work of art

There are many ways to give a sense of movement.

Through the arrangement of objects

The position of figures

These ballerinas are an example of physical and visual movement.

And the use of perspective

Live figures such as the horse shown below is portrayed in an unstable position and causes us to feel that movement is imminent. This is known as anticipated movement.

This picture seems to move doesn't it? The repition of the geometric shapes and forms cause your eye to produce motion even though there is none present.

When figures move past us at high speed, we see it as somewhat blurry. This leads us to interpret blurry or indistint outlines as conveying motion.

LineaR movement describes the CHARACTERISTICS Related to the use of lines In SCULPTURES,paintings,photagraphy And visual art work.

This is an example of linear movement.

Artist have the ability to control the audiences reaction to a certain extent. The easiest way to accomplish this is through empathizing facial expressions.
