Memorial service at The Groesbeek Canadian War CemeterY Every year on the third day of the Four Days Marches Nijmegen
A few years ago I thought let's visit the Four Days Marches Nijmegen and see if that is a nice event to take photographs of. The third day of the 4 day event seemed to me the most interesting day because it is commonly known as the toughest route. On that day I also found out that Soldiers from Canada and other countries have Memorial Services at The Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery to honor the fallen Canadian Soldiers of WW2. Over a few years I made photo's of this impressive event. A selection of these photo's are in this presentation.

A French delegation of Soldiers also pay their respects.

In 2015 there was a big Swiss delegation to pay their respects.
Every Swiss soldier had a rose to place on a grave at the cemetery.
