LAST TIME OUT
EVANSTON, Ill. — Junior Kamaria McDaniel led Penn State with 18 points and freshman Makenna Marisa added a career-high 17 points, but the Lady Lions fell 85-59 at Northwestern Jan. 19.
Sophomore Lauren Ebo tied her career high with 12 rebounds, while McDaniel has now scored in double figures in 17 of Penn State's 18 games.
HEAD COACH CAROLYN KIEGER
- Carolyn Kieger was hired as the sixth head coach of the Lady Lions' basketball program on April 3, 2019.
- A 2019 Naismith Women's Coach of the Year Award semifinalist, Kieger guided Marquette to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (2017-19).
- Kieger owns a 106-77 overall record, including a school-best 27-8 mark last season that included the Golden Eagles' first-ever outright Big East regular season title.
- She coached nine All-Big East selections the past three seasons, including the past two Big East Players of the Year, Allazia Blockton (2017-18) and Natisha Hiedeman (2018-19).
- Prior to her tenture at Marquette, Kieger spent six seasons as an assistant coach at Miami (Fla.)
- A four-year starter at Marquette from 2002-06, Kieger is the Golden Eagles' all-time assists leader and the only player in program history with at least 1,200 career points, 400 rebounds and 600 assists.

Junior Guard
- McDaniel leads the Lady Lions and is second in the Big Ten with 19.1 points per game. She also has a team-best 14 blocks and 55 assists.
- She scored 40 points earlier this season vs. Pittsburgh, the first Lady Lion to put up 40-plus points in a game since 2001 and just the third in program history.
- Averaged 30.6 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as a senior at Dearborn Heights Robichaud.

The Bryce Jordan Center, one of the premier collegiate basketball facilities in the nation, is the home of the Penn State Nittany Lions. Located on Curtin Road adjacent to Beaver Stadium, the spacious arena has a seating capacity of 15,154 for basketball and 16,000 for other events. The Jordan Center has a variety of uses, including athletic competitions, commencements and other academic events, trade shows, popular music concerts, artistic and cultural performances and family events. The Bryce Jordan Center is the largest arena in the state outside of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
