Congratulations to the Shawnee high school students below who have earned recognition in the 2023 Scholastic Art Awards of Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio. This year, 2055 artworks were entered and 666 were admitted into the juried exhibition. Nineteen Shawnee High School students have received recognition in this juried competition. Their twenty-two creative works (14 honorable mentions, 4 silver keys, 4 gold keys) will be on display at the FWMoA (Fort Wayne Museum of Art) from February 11-April 8! The four gold key artists will now be competing at the national level.

Since 1923, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards have recognized some of America's most celebrated artists and writers while they were teenagers, including Stephen King and Andy Warhol. We are proud to count the students among these esteemed Scholastic Awards alumni!
