Campbell Wrestling Facility What does training look like for a D1 wrestler?

Here's a Closer Look at Our Amazing Facility

A Stunning New Facility

Campbell University invests in its athletes. As an extension to the $30 million Gore Arena project, Campbell upgraded the wrestling facilities in 2018 to better fit the needs of a successful, growing team. The 7,000 square-foot facility includes three full-size mats, cardio exercise room, lounge area with massage chair, and newly upgraded locker room for the 2021 season.

From the first time you drive onto campus and see the giant wrestling murals on our windows to the time you walk through our doors and see the SoCon Championship and All-American awards, you'll understand the wrestling culture that permeates through Campbell University.

Our wrestling room gives our student-athletes the ability to train hard, recover, and study. We are grateful that our University has invested in our growing team. -Coach Sentes

A Kick-butt Wrestling Room

Three regulation mats allow space for our team of over 50 wrestlers. Whether you're wrestling live during practice or shooting extra high crotches late at night, our facility is always open to our student-athletes. The Campbell Wrestling room has the training space for our athletes to accomplish their goals.

High Tech Training Equipment

As a D1 athlete, you have access to state of the art training equipment. Our cardio room includes: 10 Keiser bikes, 10 Assault Aerodynes, 2 stair steppers, and 2 Woodway Treadmills. In the wrestling room our athletes can use a jungle gym with multiple pull-up bars, a punching bag, ropes, dumbbells and kettlebells, medicine balls, jump ropes, and other auxiliary equipment. The sauna is also available for use out-of-season.

A place to train, study, and relax

Between training sessions and classes, our athletes utilize the hot and cold tubs, showers. On site we conveniently we have a locker room, which has been upgraded for the 2021 season to include more lockers and a hangout space for our expanding team. You may also find our athletes relaxing in our recovery massage chair, eating (when they can) in the lounge, or studying in our conference room.
