Cowley wins first title in program history

Mckinney, TX - Cowley College took home their first national championship title in school history with a team point total of 52. Cowley finished as the runner-up in both the 2021 and 2022 national championship tournaments.

Cowley took home first place in singles flights No. 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6, and second place in singles flight No. 4. The Tigers also took home first place in doubles flights No. 1 and 3, and second place in doubles flight No.2.

Championship Awards

All-America honors are presented to the champion and runner-up of each flight at the NJCAA DI Men's Tennis Championship. TheĀ 2023 NJCAA DI Men's Tennis All-America team consisted of 12 athletes from Cowley and 12 athletes from Tyler.

Cowley head coach Manuel Raga was named the Coach of the Tournament.
Lake County's Jim Love received the Herschel Stephens Coaching Award.

Tyler comes in second

The thirteen-time national champions finished in second place in the NJCAA DI Men's Tennis Championship tournament. The Apaches finished with a team point total of 47.

Tyler took home first place in singles flight No.4, and second place in singles flights No. 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6. The Tigers also took home first place in doubles flight No.2, and second place in doubles flights No. 1 and 3.

Eastern Florida State takes home third overall

Eastern Florida landed in third with 34 points. This is the highest that their men's tennis program has placed in school history.
