Digital Storytelling Workshop Bring Your Ideas to Life

Open to students who have completed 5th grade. Younger students may be eligible with a parent in attendance. Email Traci to discuss.

Digital Storytelling is the act of conveying an idea or concept using digital means of photo, video, audio and narration. It empowers students to use technology to bring their ideas to life.

  • What is digital storytelling
  • What are the key elements in telling a story digitally
  • Conceptualizing an idea
  • Creating a digital story
  • Enhancements like audio, video and narration (and why these are so important)
  • Sharing a story
  • Applications for digital storytelling (how this can be used inside and outside of school)

Schedule will be posted in early July. Lunch will be provided. Cost $55 per student. We are limited to 25 students, so register early!
