Roman numerals were very important back then in Roman times. It is still used today. They are very important.

Roman numerals were created by the Romans. They originally created them so so they could count the things that they trade. Roman numerals started between 900 and800b.c.e. There seven basic symbols. These symbols are I, V, X, L, C, D, and M. They were used for names and sporting events, like the Olympics.

Although Roman numerals are very important, they have there flaws. For example, they do not have a number zero. There is no way to calculate fractions with Roman numerals. They had no single way to count above several thousands. They have a good amount of flaws.

Roman numerals are still used today. We use them in math with charts. And on things like the super bowl and also on old timey clocks. They were important then and still are now. Without them it would be hard to count or do anything with numbers.

We used Roman numerals back in Roman times and still use them today. They are used for plenty of things today.
