There many types of child abuse such as neglect, physical. sexual, and emotional.
In the United States, more than 4 children die from child abuse and neglect on a daily basis. Over 70% of these children are below the age of 3.
There is about 1 out of 3 girls and 1 out of 3 boys that wll be sexuall harassed before the age of 18.

Little did they know that 90% of child abuse victims know the predator or perpetrator in someway. 68% children are abused by a family member.

2.9 Million cases of child abuse are reported every year in the U.S.
About 80% of 21-year-olds who were abused as children met criteria for at least one psychological disorder.
symptoms for Child Abuse
- Risk for imitate partner violence
- Smoking and drinking at a early age
- Depression
- Suicide/ Suicide attempts
- Drug abuse
- Anti-social
- Failure to thrive
- Unusual interaction with a parent
- Slower-than-normal development
- Other mental illness
