ITA Most Improved Senior Award
Tom Zeuch from the University of Indianapolis has been named the 2023 ITA Most Improved Senior Award winner.
Taking his game to new heights in the 2022-23 season, Zeuch was a major factor in UIndy's success this past season in which they reach the NCAA Semifinals and finished 23-3 on the season.
Beginning his strides this past fall, Zeuch won the ITA Midwest Region Doubles Championship with partner Edgar Destouet before winning the ITA Cup Doubles National Championship just a few weeks later. The duo have been ranked No. 1 in the country all season long.
After sustaining an injury during the 2021-22 season, Zeuch showed no signs of rust in singles play this year either going 22-3 from the No. 2 singles position, including winning his last 11 matches of the season.
Zeuch was named ALL-GLVC First Team for his efforts in both singles and doubles play this season.
A Letter From Head Coach Malik Tabet
I would like to congratulate Tom for receiving such a fitting award.
Tom has made this season a very special one for his team. His leadership skills, willingness to help everyone around him, his infectious positive attitude and his love of life personality made it such a joy to be around him.
Additionally, Tom’s work ethic was top notch. He was the team motivator and biggest positive influence to our team culture.
I cannot be more proud of the personal growth Tom has had during his time at UIndy.
