Regional ranking

Averett's men's tennis team earned a regional ranking as high as No. 19 in the ITA's South Atlantic Region during the season.

“We had quite a year in men’s tennis. We attained a regional ranking, made the semis in the Conference Tournament and set the school record for wins in a season. More importantly, I thought we took a big step forward in developing the type of culture necessary for sustained success. I’m really proud of our guys and their accomplishments.” - Coach Bert Poole
