Covid-19 vaccinations on children aged 12-17 has started as early as November as confirmed by vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. on Wednesday, October 27.

โ€œAccording to the National Vaccination Operation Center, the rollout of vaccinations would be as early as November 3,โ€ he stated.

The Department of Health (DOH) also clarified that the vaccinations will begin as early as November 3 nationwide, with Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.

As of October 26, 18,666 minors already received their first dose of vaccination during the initial phase of the pediatric vaccination in Metro Manila.

The COVID-19 vaccination of minors is favored by parents, teachers and especially for students, for this is necessary for the possible face to face classes for high school students for next School Year.

Meanwhile in the City of San Jose del Monte Bulacan, vaccination among minors started last November 15, 2021 and still continues today, November 18, 2021.

Among the requirements needed for vaccination are the following:

  • Proof of Filiation (e.g. Birth Certificate, Baptismal, among others)
  • Identification Cards

Note: Medical certification is no longer needed.
