The Holidays were fun for some, but not for all. Spending time with family during the Holidays was hard for some, and came with consequences. Going to a large sporting event or concert was fun... but not after a Covid test comes back positive days later. Aside from going to large gatherings, keeping it small with immediate family did not prove to be much safer. This holiday season Covid was the gift that kept on giving.
Pictures cannot describe the impatient waiting of isolation, or catch the enjoyable moments during the holiday. But what they can do is prove good memories were made while people had time off enjoying some normalcy. Unfortunately on the flip side, it catches the sad truth of people struggling to stay safe in a time where they should be thankful for having time to spend with family.
